The original location of the steering rack on the Subaru BRZ, which is equipped with a boxer engine, is not very suitable for drifting. To address this issue, the steering rack has been relocated from under the front cross-member, allowing for the use of various engines, including the boxer, I6/V8, and others. To use the kit, a Lexus IS 1st generation (XE10 1998-2005) hydraulic steering rack is required. The kit includes the steering rack attachment/cross-member insert and cross-member supports, but a modification of the cross-member through DIY cutting and welding is necessary.

Here is our recommended alignment parameters: Toe in/out: If Ackermann is 0 or negative then toe is 2mm out. If Ackermann is positive then toe is 0 Camber: -6+/-0,5
62 degrees of lock, parallel steering You can tune your steering geometry towards positive Ackermann in just a few minutes even at trackside without messing up the alignment. Ackermann adjustment is included in the kit.
7 kg of weight reduction While still maintaining the required strength and stiffness.
7075-T6 aluminium Billet CNC knuckles and arms with optimized design and all double shear connections provide low weight and high strenght.
CrMo rod ends and sphericals used instead of OEM bushings
Higher roll center (RC) With our knuckle, the ball joint is lowered, which brings the front RC up on a lowered car, providing higher roll stiffness. This allows to remove the front anti roll-bar (sway bar) that is quite difficult to package with high lock angles.
Good camber control and minimal bump steer with high steering angles On drift cars the dynamic camber and bump steer is much more important than static. With our kinematics we have assured that the camber will provide very good front grip and bump steer is minimal throughout the steering range.
Steering jacking control During drifting, when steering angle is increased, jacking is also bigger, even with the same geometry it could become a problem. We have changed the geometry in a way that doesn't cause any handling issues.
Consistent and predictable self-alignment torque. Caster is not the only important parameter to provide sufficient self-alignment torque, especially at high lock. It's the combination of different parameters to maintain consistent trail and self-alignment torque. With our setup the steering wheel turns always to the direction of movement and doesn't get stuck at full lock.

Other information:
This kit assumes coilovers for enough clearance
Dependent on rim width and ET, wider fenders or fender flares are needed.
Due to extremely wide engine bay on Subaru BRZ, we recommend using tires no bigger than 605mm (215/40R17, 225/40R17, 215/35R18, 225/35R18)
With tire diameter up to 635mm (215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18 etc) and lowered ride height the inner wheel wells need to be slightly modified.
Minimum rim size is 17“, but we recommend using 18“
Recommended backspacing is 135-140mm (7“ ET45; 8“ ET35; 9“ ET25). If ET is smaller, then wheels stay more outwards, if ET is bigger, then spacers need to be used.

Set your desired rim and tire parameters in our fitment calculator to have a better overview how Wisefab will transform your driftcar. Fender arch height is your indicator on ride height. Check the fitment and learn about missing fender gap before ordering widebody kit. In the custom section you can edit the fender to fender and wheelhub to wheelhub measurments according to your driftcar. Use the max width to check if your car will fit on your trailer. "’We started working together with Wisefab back in 2014 when we launched our Falken Tyres Nissan 240sx for European competition. Since then, we have enjoyed working closely with the engineers at Wisefab testing new products before going into production and have had a lot of success winning multiple championship worldwide. Thank you to everyone at Wisefab for believing in us and producing such top-quality products."
“When I first installed a Wisefab lock kit it truly opened the door for some more aggressive driving style. I quickly began to expect nothing less than the massive angle and performance that Wisefab provides and installed a lock kit on all (4) of my Nissan 240sx that I currently drift. Also, after testing what I though was a very competitive rear suspension solution against the latest Wisefab rear kit, I was blown away with the apparent grip gain the rear Wisefab kit yielded. I am so thankful that Wisefab has poured so much effort into creating a bolt on suspension solution that transforms a Nissan 240sx into what I believe is still the most competitive drift chassis in the world."
"I love the Wisefab suspension kits used on my competition and demo vehicles, they provide all the angle and grip we love along with the strength and durability we need to compete with the best!"
"I wouldn't have half the results! Only by running Wisefab in my Toyota 86 it just makes the car handle so good and let's me adjust set up pretty easy which is a massive help going from track to track!"
